Accommodations are all rustic wood heated log buildings. A gravity- fed water system supplies the Boulder Hut with cold water = no harrowing walks to the creek! A small hydro charger supplies the lodge with light, music and adequate electricity to recharge battery-operated devices. Feel free to bring your CDs or ipods. Hearty meals are served at the Boulder Hut family style around the large dining table. Relax or stretch out in the loft with a book while dinner is cooking.
Close by is the shower house and Canada’s highest backcountry hot tub. Enjoy the winter evening under the stars! Guests are welcome to bathe in our outdoor shower every day but the wood fired hot tub will only be fired up three nights each week. We have no indoor toilets, but two outhouses are located a close walk from the bunkhouse.
The “Casa de Suenos” is a separate sleeping cabin which accommodates up to twelve people. Swiss style bunks are complete with foam mattresses, pillow, sleeping bags and flannel sheet liners. The hut is wired with minimal electric lighting. Staff sleeps in separate quarters but will share cooking facilities with self-guided groups.
